New East Manchester Ltd
New East Manchester Limited, established in October 1999, was the second Urban Regeneration Company to be created. The company is a partnership between national (English Partnerships), regional (North West Development Agency) and local government (Manchester City Council), with local communities playing a full part.
Yorkshire Forward
Yorkshire Forward is the Government's regional agency to promote sustainable economic development throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region. Igloo has been working closely with Yorkshire Forward since 2003 through the renaissance towns and cities program, launched in 2001 as an initiative to deliver the emerging national agenda for more liveable and economically successful communities. The programme's objective is to ensure that towns and cities are well-designed, connected and accessible for people to use and enjoy and that they offer an attractive blend of housing, services, facilities and social activities.
