Nottingham, Waterside

Nottingham Waterside is one of the country's pre-eminent regeneration projects covering 250 acres on the North bank of the Trent on the edge of Nottingham City Centre. This Isis project is in partnership with Nottingham City Council, East Midlands Development Agency and English Partnerships. It seeks to achieve an urban renaissance through the creation of a sustainable mixed use waterside community to position Nottingham as a major European regional capital.

ISIS has developed new forms of family housing accommodation, both in the form of modern typologies of townhouses and within apartment blocks. This enables us to resolve the challenge of ensuring that a high density development is not exclusively populated by single person professional households, but has a balanced, sustainable mix of residents.
