David Roberts is deputy chief executive of Igloo Regeneration, responsible for the delivery of Igloo's regeneration projects and for the development and implementation of Igloo's Socially Responsible Investment Policy. Most recently he led igloo's bid to the Welsh Development Agency (National Assembly for Wales) for the regeneration of Cardiff's Tiger Bay, one of the most significant waterfront developments in the UK, transforming the last major derelict site in the Inner Harbour into a sustainable, mixed-use, creative urban neighbourhood, delivering over 1 million sq. ft. of commercial space for media, biosciences and related industries with more than 1,000 new homes.

David is a Chartered Surveyor with twenty years' experience in the construction and facilities management industry. Formerly regional director for Bucknall Austin, Manchester and Bovis Lend Lease Consulting. David is a former assessor for the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence, an external examiner for the University of Central Lancashire, and a judge for the RICS Property Management Corporate Social Responsibility Awards.

David is a Commissioner on the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors' Presidential Commission on Sustainability and National Sustainablity Panel Member of the government's Sustainable Development Commission.
