Development Director, Igloo Regeneration
Paul is Development Director for Igloo Regeneration responsible for Igloo's direct developments in Leeds and Bradford and for projects in Leicester with Blueprint, Igloo's public/private partnership with English Partnerships and the East Midlands Development Agency undertaking sustainable mixed use regeneration in the East Midlands.
Following a period in local government planning, Paul worked in development management with some of the UK's largest house building companies particularly involved with housing led regeneration, reaching regional director status. He worked in many partnership arrangements with the public sector, including an SRB management group where he chaired the housing sub group with local resident involvement.
He has worked for the Urban Villages Forum and Prince of Wales Foundation were he led on various mixed use regeneration projects from the Midlands to the North East as part of the joint 'Making Mixed Use Happen' initiative with English Partnerships . While at the Foundation he was a Board member of two Urban Village companies at Little Germany in Bradford and Ancoats in Manchester and led a Visioning exercise involving local stakeholders for Northwich Town Centre.
Paul was Regeneration Manager at Amec Developments, with responsibility for the delivery of mixed use projects via three joint venture vehicles - Isis, Igloo's public/private partnership with British Waterways; the English Cities Fund PPP with English Partnerships and Legal & General and Ician, Amec's JV with Crosby Homes.
